Michael Moore – Twice Upon A Swing

Michael Moore

About the Author

Michael W. Moore was born in 1951 and raised in the suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama along with his four siblings. He attended Jackson Elementary School, Hueytown High School, and Jacksonville State University where he earned a degree in Mathematics.

His hobbies include fishing, photography, reading, yard work, and writing. His interest in poetry and short-story writing predates any memory he has of when the compelling, internal itch to put words on paper actually first began.

Although his entire work career was spent in the health insurance and employee benefits industry, he found enough quiet moments through the years to scribble a few thoughts and ideas into verse and prose to sustain his dream. He retired in the fall of 2016 and now devotes more time to his creative writing pursuits.

He and his wife Cathy currently live in Hoover, Alabama. They retreat on weekends to a cabin at a nearby river. Their three children have left the proverbial nest. This is Michael’s first novel.
